This Privacy Policy explains how Qwan Labs Pte. Ltd. (“Qwan Labs”, “we”, “us” or “our”) handles personal data when you use DROP.

1. Our approach

We collect as little personal data as reasonably necessary to operate and protect DROP. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing.

2. Data we handle

Depending on how you use DROP, we may handle:

  • Account information, such as your email address or other sign-in identifier handled through our authentication provider.
  • A username or profile identifier you choose.
  • Wallet addresses and other blockchain identifiers connected with your use of DROP.
  • Activity information, such as deposits, DROPs, claims and withdrawals.
  • Basic technical and security information, such as IP address, device or browser information, logs and identifiers used to prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorised access.
  • Communications you send to us, including support or legal requests.

We do not ask for information such as your legal name, date of birth or residential address unless it becomes necessary to provide a feature or comply with applicable law. If that changes, we will explain what is required and why.

3. Public blockchain data

DROP operates using public blockchains. Wallet addresses, contract interactions and blockchain transactions may be publicly visible and permanently recorded. We do not control public blockchains and generally cannot alter or delete data recorded on them.

Your email address and sign-in identity are not intentionally written to the blockchain by DROP.

4. How we use data

We use personal data only where reasonably necessary to:

  • provide, authenticate and operate DROP;
  • process and display activity associated with your account;
  • secure the service and prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorised access;
  • provide support and service communications;
  • maintain, troubleshoot and improve the service; and
  • comply with applicable law and valid legal obligations.

5. Service providers and disclosure

We may share data with service providers that help us run DROP, such as authentication, hosting, database, security and blockchain-infrastructure providers. They may process data only for the services they provide to us and subject to appropriate contractual or legal protections.

We may also disclose data where required by law, regulation or valid legal process, or where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, protect users, enforce our Terms or protect the rights and safety of Qwan Labs or others.

We do not sell personal data or share it with data brokers or advertisers for their own marketing.

6. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including security, dispute resolution and legal compliance. We may delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed.

Information recorded on a public blockchain may remain there permanently and is outside our control.

7. International processing

DROP is a global service. Your data may be processed in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal data.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal data we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions and do not allow us to erase data from a public blockchain.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal data. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

DROP is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users through the service or another appropriate channel. The effective date above will show when this Policy was last updated.
